The price of coffe is outrageous so I thought: 'why not give this a try'?
Here there are two methods for making Dandelion Coffee.
Careful here, I would not recommend this young man's method for cutting the
dandelion roots; I have awful visions of tip-less fingers *shuddering*
I wonder if the root is nutritious? The first guy was bothering me with the hat on in the house. AND, it was nasty, sweaty. The second guy said "blanching" but was describing parboiling. Which do you think he meant?
ReplyDeleteNot only do I not drink hot tea, I don't drink any kind of coffee. But, I wonder if this roasted ground root of the dandelion could be used in a cake like we use cocoa and somethimes coffee. What do you think?
I'm tempted to try this! I have plenty of tea, but this summer I've discovered how delicious tea made from fresh pineapple sage, common sage, mint, chocolate mint, or lemon balm is.
